Salvatore CANNELLA

Associate Professor of Business and management engineering [ING-IND/35]

Salvatore Cannella is an Associate Professor at the University of Catania, having previously benefited from the MIUR's "Rita Levi Montalcini" recruitment program.

He holds a Master's Degree in "Management Engineering" and a European Doctorate in "Logistics and Management for Quality, Environment, and Safety" from the University of Palermo. He has conducted research at several international centers, supported by competitive individual grants. These include the University of Lisbon ("BPD Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia"), the University of Seville ("Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowships," "Programa Juan de la Cierva Incorporación," "Becas Banco Santander"), and the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso ("Programa Fondecyt Iniciación"). He has also participated in various research and training projects sponsored by national institutions (CNR, CRUI, MAE, MIUR) and international organizations (European Commission, Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean - UN, British Council for Physical Sciences and Engineering Research, Spanish Ministry of Industry and Competitiveness, Junta de Andalucía) and has been honored with the "CEL Universidad" award from the Spanish Center for Logistics. Currently, he is responsible for the UniCT project "ExPliCiT - Exploring Plausible Circular Futures" funded by the European Commission (MSCA Staff Exchanges).
