Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge of the planning, design and construction phases of works and the ability to manage and coordinate them are the main expected learning outcomes.

Course Structure

Frontal teaching and practical exercise

Required Prerequisites

Knowledge of materials and components for construction. Knowledge of the main construction procedures and technologies.

Attendance of Lessons

Attendance is not mandatory; however, since the practical exercise on the topics covered during the course will be conducted in the classroom, attendance is strongly recommended.

1.      Construction process. 

2.      Contract organization. Delivery systems, award methods and payment schemes. 

3.      Operational planning.

4.      Operational scheduling.

5.      Economic planning and scheduling. 

6.      Site industrialization.

8.      Quality and control system.
