The course in Architectural Design Theory aims to provide students with the ability to understand contemporary architectural design from the recognition of architectural design theories.
Course Structure
The course will be conducted in the manner of frontal/traditional teaching and thus with face-to-face lectures and classroom exercises.
Required Prerequisites
The student taking the course should have good knowledge of contemporary architectural history and literature on landscape design.
Attendance of Lessons
Attendance in the course is compulsory and will be verified by the faculty in the traditional teaching manner.
Detailed Course Content
The specific theme of the academic year is an in-depth study of theories of contemporary architecture, with particular reference to the relationships between the architectural project and the landscape project. The two integrated courses, starting from a conceptual framework, in which the boundaries and overlaps of the disciplines involved are established, intend to fix the main theoretical and operational references of contemporary architectural and landscape design
