DOPPIO TITOLO con la Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)

The University of Catania and Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania) have established a joint study programme that allows selected students to obtain a Double Master’s Degree.

The programme involves the following study courses:

• M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering for Industrial Sustainability (UNICT)

• M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (KTU)

Each academic year, up to 4 students from each institution may be admitted to the programme, according to the selection procedures established at both universities.

Selected students will spend a total mobility period of 2 years (no less than 120 ECTS) at both institutions, following a jointly defined study plan (Annexes 3 and 4 of the Agreement). Courses are taught in English.

The Master’s thesis will be developed under the joint supervision of professors from UNICT and KTU, written in English and defended at both universities, either in person or via videoconference.

Students admitted to the programme will be exempt from tuition fees at the host institution; however, they will be responsible for travel, accommodation, living expenses, and health insurance. They may apply for international mobility programmes (e.g., Erasmus+) to cover part of these costs.
