Learning Assessment
Learning Assessment Procedures
Assessment of exercises, aimed at verifying the ability to apply mathematical models of hydraulics to schematic cases representative of fluid flow problems in water engineering.
Oral exam, aimed at verifying knowledge of mathematical models of hydraulics, with understanding of the basic assumptions and calculation approximations.
The assessment of exercises and the oral exam each weigh 50% of the overall evaluation.
Examples of frequently asked questions and / or exercises
Hardy Cross method.
Matrix of conductivity.
Pipe networks sizing.
Lateral weir.
Unsteady pressure pipe flow.
Unsteady free surface flow.
Flow in porous media.
Incipient motion.
