Planning and design of transport systems

The course aims at providing knowledge regarding: transport economics, sustainable mobility, transport systems, feasibility of interventions in the transport sector, architecture of the transport planning process, environmental assessment, examination of case studies.
Course Structure
The course includes:
- frontal lessons
- guided exercise(s)
- guided tours
The acquisition of skills will be verified by means of an oral test which will cover both the theoretical topics and the assigned exercises.

Attendence is strongly reccomended as it is consistent with the proposed teaching model which aims to encourage gradual learning, the active participation of the student in the classroom, and dialogue between teachers and students.
