Full Professor of Highways, railways and airports [CEAR-03/A]

Alessandro Di Graziano, phD in "Engineering of road infrastructures", is full professor of "Road, Railways and Airport" at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering (DICAR) of University of Catania. His scientific activity mainly focuses on infrastructures and transport management with special emphasis on safety, maintenance and management. His research products include about 80 published papers. Member of various association or steering group including the National Association of Transport Companies (ASSTRA), the International Organization of Public Transport (UITP), the World Road Association (AIPCR), the Italian Society of Road Infrastructures (SIIV), the National Agency for Railway Safety (ASNF), the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Already member of the Observatory on Public Transport at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (2012-2017); vice president of the Catania Public Transport Company (2009-2013); General Manager of the EtnaRailway and Metro Catania Agency (2014-2018); Government Commissioner of the Eastern Sicily SEZ (2021-2024).
