The course is organised in a series of theoretical lessons aimed at the knowledge of representation methods in the cad, 2d and 3d environment. The theoretical lessons will be accompanied by graphic exercises with the aim of deepening the topics covered and verifying the student's level of learning. The graphic works will be preparatory to the drafting of the final drawings in which the representation methods learnt in the lessons will be applied to a final exercise.
Course Structure
Teaching will take place alternating between theoretical lectures and practical exercises.
Required Prerequisites
No theoretical prerequisites required. The possession of a laptop on which digital drawing programmes can be installed is required.
Attendance of Lessons
Frequency is obligatory. The student is required to attend at least 70% of the course lectures.
Detailed Course Content
The following topics will be covered:
- drawing in a two and three-dimensional cad environment (programme used Autocad);
- 3D solid modelling techniques (programme used Rhinoceros).

Learning Assessment Procedures
The exam consists of an oral colloquium and, if necessary, a computer-based practical test, which can only be accessed after the students have handed in their works relating to the exercises carried out during the course. During the oral interview the student may be asked to open the files of his or her works on the computer in order to carry out tests. During the practical test, the student is asked to carry out an exercise relating to the topics covered during the course.

A practical computer modelling exercise may be requested, as well as questions concerning the use of the software or questions concerning the final exercise carried out.
