Alessandro CAMMARATA

Associate Professor of Applied mechanics [IIND-02/A]

Alessandro Cammarata graduated in Mechanical Engineering V.O. in 2004. In 2008 he obtained his PhD in Structural Mechanics, with a thesis entitled "Dynamic study of the McGill Schönflies motion generator". Since 2 March 2020 he has been associate professor in the same sector ING-IND/13 and belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture (DICAR) of the University of Catania. In November 2020 Alessandro Cammarata obtained the national licence to become full professor. He holds the following teachings: Applied mechanics and machines, Vehicle dynamics and multibody simulations. Its research interests cover flexible multibody dynamics, parallel robots, compliant mechanisms, deployable mechanisms. He is the author and coauthor of over 80 publications in national and international journals and conference proceedings.
