- Understand the fundamental principles of sustainable manufacturing and the criteria for evaluating the environmental impact of production processes.
- Know traditional and innovative production technologies with particular attention to environmental sustainability aspects.
- Optimize production processes to reduce waste and environmental impact.
- Select technologies and process parameters that minimize the generation of scraps and waste.
The acquired skills are applicable in the field of industry and sustainable development, in accordance with goals 9 and 12 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
