MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT

Academic Year 2026/2027 - Teacher: ROBERTO ROSARIO CORSINI

Expected Learning Outcomes

To achieve specific skills for the implementation and development of methods for solving short-term production planning problems:

  • - Analyze the characteristics of semiconductor manufacturing systems and the scheduling challenges associated with them.
  • - Model and solve short-term production scheduling problems arising in semiconductor manufacturing systems.

  • The acquired skills are applicable in the field of industry and sustainable development, in accordance with goals 9 and 12 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The student will develop skills in understanding and evaluating engineering solutions in the field, acquiring the ability to identify, use, and manage computational tools and software for solving complex problems. The student will also be able to keep their technical knowledge up to date and to propose, evaluate, and compare alternative solutions in industrial contexts.

Furthermore, the student will acquire the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. Finally, the student will be able to communicate and interact effectively with operators and stakeholders having different levels of technical expertise, including non-specialists from other industrial sectors.
