Quality Assurance
The doctoral programme adopts the AVA 3 system (Self-Assessment, Evaluation, Accreditation), developed by the National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR), as a reference framework for Quality Assurance (QA) in its teaching, research and third mission activities.
The Quality Assurance Group of the Doctoral Programme is composed of many members, including a representative of the doctoral students, appointed by the Doctoral Board. The QAG is responsible for supporting the Coordinator in the preparation of the Annual Review document. It also manages the monitoring and improvement of processes and results relating to research, teaching and third mission activities and listens to PhD students, including through the collection and analysis of their opinions.
In 2026, an Advisory Board was established, comprising academic staff and representatives of the social parties with an interest in the cultural and professional profiles of graduates from the PhD programme.
